Erin Eggers surpassed 1,000 career digs as the Green Knights posted a 3-0 win over Rockford University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Seaver Gym.
The Green Knights (11-10, 4-2) picked up the win over the Regents by scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.
Eggers, who needed just eight digs to reach 1,000 for her career, picked that up in the first set when she recorded 12 of her match-high 23 digs.
St. Norbert took control in the opening set when it scored five-straight points to take a 7-2 lead. The Green Knights then opened Set 2 with a 9-0 run and cruised to a 2-0 match lead. St. Norbert held a 15-13 lead in the third set before going on a 4-0 run to get some breathing room.
The Green Knights hit .270, with 42 kills and 12 errors in 111 attempts.
Brooke Clement had 14 kills, while
Alli Clark had six.
Ellie Hartson finished with 20 assists, while
Heidi Colburn added 15.
In addition to Eggers' 23 digs, the St. Norbert defense got three blocks each from Clark and Clement.
Rockford hit .009, with 26 kills and 25 errors in 111 attempts. Melody Moreno had a team-high eight kills.
