CHICAGO - St. Norbert College picked up a big road win in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference dual at Illinois Institute of Technolgy, posting a 5-4 victory at XS Tennis Center.

The Green Knights (5-7, 4-4 NACC) moved into fifth place in the NACC standings with one match remaining.

St. Norbert gained two of three doubles points. Grace Peters and Anna Vechart defeated Paige Geiger and Maria Moran-Moranda 8-6 at No. 2, while Paige Diercks and Grace McCune topped Ashley Dame and Rhea Karumuru 8-5 at No. 3.

Hannah Starr picked up a key-three set win at No. 1 singles, fashioning a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win over Hannah Markiewicz. Peters defeated Geiger 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3, while Irene Multhauf topped Karumuru 7-5, 6-3 at No. 6.
