DE PERE - St. Norbert College battled Northern Athletics Collegiate Confernce co-leader Aurora University but eventually fell in a 2-1 decision at Schneider Stadium.

Aurora snapped a 1-1 tie when Enrique Gonzalez scored his 18th goal of the season on a breakaway chance at the 63:58 mark.

The Spartans took a 1-0 lead when Gio Villegas' direct kick caromed in at 37:47. The goal would hold up until St. Norbert scored at 58:36. Tyler Bonin forced a turnover and passed to Joe Meade, whose shot rebounded to Stjepan Peharda, converting the opportunity to level the score at 1-1.

Aurora outshot St. Norbert 14-12 while the Green Knights had an 8-3 edge in corner kicks. Meade, Bonin and Kevin Ramirez all had three shots each for St. Norbert.

Ryan Fleming made four saves for St. Norbert, while Jalen Depenbrock had five stops for Aurora.
