CHICAGO - St. Norbert College pumped in three-second half goals en route to a 4-1 victory over Illinois Institute of Technology in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Stuart Field.
The Green Knights and Scarlet Hawks were level at 1-1 at halftime but jumped ahead when
Kevin Ramirez scored at 51:45 for his third goal of the season.
Joe Meade followed at 59:25 for his tenth goal of the year, while
Anthony Elert converted for his first collegiate marker at 63:59. All three goals were assisted by
Tyler Bonin.
Illinois Tech took the early lead at 17:02 when Michael Kaczowka scored. The Green Knights quickly got the equalizer when Bonin registered his eighth goal of the year at the 19:40 mark, with
Joe Meade assisting.
St. Norbert outshot Illinois Tech 18-15. Bonin had six shots and Meade five.
Nate Jocz got the win in goal for the Green Knights, making three saves in 75 minutes of action.
Zach Holmstrom finished up in 15 minutes of relief. Adam Falcingo made five saves for Illinois Tech.
