LA CROSSE - St. Norbert College played its second match in as many days and suffered a 4-0 setback to nationally ranked UW-La Crosse in a non-conference match at Veterans Memorial Field.
St. Norbert mustered five shots against the Eagles, who are ranked No. 20 in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Poll.
La Crosse got a goal from Ainsley Allan at 10:09, with the Eagles holding a 1-0 lead until late in the first half when Chelsea Gale scored at 42:18. La Crosse scored early in the second half when Allan scored at 47:05. The Eagles got their last goal from Sophia Goodale at 80:12.
La Crosse outshot St. Norbert 41-5.
Emily Gorzlancyk had two shots for the Green Knights.
Lilly Collins made eight saves for the Green Knights in 81 minutes, while
Lindsay Fortier did not see a shot in nine minutes of relief.
