RIVER FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College registered a first-half goal and made it hold up the rest of the way in a 1-0 win over Concordia University Chicago in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Concordia Stadium.
Haley Leadingham put St. Norbert ahead by scoring at 32:15 for her fourth goal of the season. Leadingham took a cross from
Mallory Names and headed the ball inside the right post for what would turn out to be the game's only goal.
Each team had 22 shots. Leadingham took eight shots, while Names and
Abby Thompson had three shots a picee.
Kait Schweitzer,
Amelia Carlson and
Meredith Posanski all had two shots apiece.
Lilly Collins made seven saves for the Green Knights, while Kassie Silenzi had eight stops for the Cougars.
