STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College couldn't hold a three-set lead and ended up with a tough 3-2 loss to UW-River Falls at the UW-Stevens Point Tournament at Quandt Fieldhouse.
The Green Knights fell to the Falcons 29-27, 19-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-5.
St. Norbert held a 20-16 lead in the first set before the Falcons scored five consecutive points. The Green Knights still held set point at 24-23, but the Falcons scored to force a deuce set and St. Norbert would not reach a set point again.
The Green Knights struck the ball well in the second and third sets, getting 13 kills against three errors in 30 attempts in the second set and then had 14 kills with no errors in 39 attempts in the third set.
St. Norbert trailed 19-18 in the fourth set before River Falls scored six of the last seven points. The Green Knights then had just two kills with three errors in 18 attempts in the decisive fifth set.
The Green Knights hit .150 for the match, with 50 kills and 26 errors in 160 attempts. 
Brooke Clement led St. Norbert with 13 kills, while 
Rylie Gregg added 11 kills and 
Molly Rader 10. 
Ellie Hartson had 33 assists, while Clement had two service aces.
Erin Eggers finished with a team-high 17 digs, while Clement added 14 and Hartson 12. Rader finished with three blocks, while Clement and 
Alyssa Mills had two apiece.
River Falls hit .230 for the match, with 72 kills and 32 errors in 174 attempts. Kameri Meredith led the Falcons with 25 kills, while Sami Hilley added 15 kills.
