STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College split a pair of five-set matches at the UW-Stevens Point Tournament, topping College of St. Scholastica 3-2 before dropping a 3-2 outcome to St. Olaf College at Quandt Fieldhouse.
The Green Knights fashioned a reverse sweep to beat St. Scholastica 19-25, 18-25, 25-20, 27-25, 16-14. St. Norbert then battled the Oles to a 22-25, 25-21, 25-7, 12-25, 15-8 setback.
St. Norbert trailed 16-12 in the third set against St. Scholastica before rattling off five consecutive points to take a 17-16 lead. The Green Knights then scored two points after an 18-18 tie to take control and take the set. The Green Knights trailed 21-19 in the fourth set before five more ties with the last at 25-25. St. Norbert then got a kill from 
Brooke Clement and then St. Scholastica had a bad set. In the fifth set, St. Norbert trailed 10-9 before taking a 13-11 lead. The Saints would battle back to tie the set at 14-14, but a St. Scholastica attacking error and an 
Ellie Hartson kill closed out the win.
The Green Knights hit .231 for the match with 66 kills and 26 errors in 173 attempts. Clement, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, finished with 21 kills against three errors in 44 attempts. 
Rylie Gregg added 11 kills and 
Alyssa Mills 10. Hartson had 37 assists.
Erin Eggers posted 17 digs, while Clement had 16 and 
Lauren Borchardt 11. 
Linnea Svennes had two blocks.
Against St. Olaf, the Green Knights trailed 9-7 in the fifth set before the Oles went on a 6-1 run to close out the win.
St. Norbert hit .211 with 47 kills against 19 errors in 133 attempts. Clement had 14 kills, while Mills, Gregg and 
Molly Rader all had seven each. Hartson finished with 33 assists. Borchardt and Gregg had two service aces apiece.
Eggers had 18 digs and Borchardt 13 digs. Gregg had four blocks, while Rader and Svennes had three apiece.
