Green Knights Stopped By UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College returned to non-conference play and dropped a 3-0 decision to UW-Stevens Point at Pointer Soccer Bowl.

The Green Knights fell behind 1-0 in the first half when Stevens Point's Kati Frierdich scored at the 15:59 mark. The Pointers scored twice 55 seconds apart early in the second half when Frierdich scored at 48:39 and Gabby Dunn added a goal at 49:34.

Stevens Point outshot St. Norbert 34-10. Abby Thompson had four shots and Kait Schweitzer had three for the Green Knights.

Lilly Collins made 12 saves in 84 minutes for the Green Knights, while Carlene Goral made one stop in six minutes of relief.
