AUBURNDALE, Fla. - St. Norbert College was locked into a tight game with Simpson College before the Storm pulled away late with a 5-2 decision at Lake Myrtle Complex.
Simpson scored one run in the eighth inning and two more in the ninth to snap a 2-2 tie.

St. Norbert had a chance to take the lead with runners at the corners with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn't push across the go-ahead run.
The Green Knights finished with eight hits.
Caden Uhlenbrauck had St. Norbert's lone multi-hit game with a 2-for-4 effort, including a double.
Noah Lindsley was tagged with the loss, allowing three runs on six hits in three innings of relief.
Aiden Trusky took a no-decision as the starter, allowing one earned run on four hits in 4 2/3 innings pitched.
