
DE PERE - St. Norbert College had three players earn mention on the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Team, announced today by the conference office.
Senior guard
Olivia DeCleene and senior forward
Kaycee Gierczak were named first-team All-NACC, while senior forward
Jessica Boerner was named to the second team.
DeCleene, a De Pere native and a graduate of De Pere High School, averaged 9.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. She also shot a team-high 85.7 percent from the free-throw line, making 66 of 77 attempts, and also had a team-leading 68 steals.
Gierczak, a Green Bay native and a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, led the team in scoring and rebounding at 11.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. She also had a team-high 17 blocked shots.
Boerner, a Menomonee Falls native and a Menomonee Falls High School graduate, averaged 10.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. She finished the season shoot 55.0 percent from the floor, making 133 of 242 field-goal attempts.
St. Norbert finished the season 19-8 overeall and 14-3 overall, finishing second in the NACC race. The Green Knights also finished as runner-up in the NACC Tournament.
