MEQUON - St. Norbert College got two goals apiece from
Courtnie Hogan and
Natalie Hogan as the Green Knights finished off a home-and-home Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series sweep with a 5-1 win over Concordia University Wisconsin at Ozaukee Ice Center.
The Green Knights (9-1-2, 6-0 NCHA) won their seventh consecutive game with the victory.
Concordia (6-4-1, 4-2) would get the early lead when Emily Reimche scored at 14:27 of the first period. The Falcons would hold that advantage into first intermission.
St. Norbert responded in a big way in the second period, with
Courtnie Hogan scoring a power-play goal at 3:06.
Natalie Hogan then followed with a power-play marker of her own at 6:06.
The Green Knights would pull away with a three-goal third period.
Jordan Moore scored at 4:25, followed by a
Courtnie Hogan goal at 8:41 and a
Natalie Hogan power-play goal at 16:57.
Natalie Hogan finished with two goals and one assist for three points.
Morgan Olson finished with three assists for three points.
Courtnie Hogan had two goals for two points.
Jordan Moore finished with one goal and one assist for two points.
St. Norbert outshot Concordia 42-23, including 27-12 in the final two periods.
Brynn Waisman made 22 stops for the Green Knights, while Annalina Van Hercke made 37 saves for the Falcons.
The Green Knights were 3-for-6 on the power play, while Concordia was 0-for-5.
