MINNEAPOLIS - St. Norbert College couldn't crack the scoring column and dropped a 1-0 decision to Augsburg University in a non-conference game at Augsburg Ice Arena.

The Green Knights (9-2-2) had a seven-game winning streak snapped in the loss.

Augsburg (7-4-1) scored the game's only goal at 12:11 of the first period on a power-play goal by Kennedy Stein.

St. Norbert came up empty on its only power-play chance, which came midway through the first period. Augsburg also missed a penalty shot just before the midpoint of the second period.

The Green Knights had 91 seconds of extra-attacker time but could not find an equalizer.

Augsburg outshot St. Norbert 43-21. Brynn Waisman made 42 saves for the Green Knights, while Chloe Stockinger made 21 stops for the Auggies.
