DE PERE - St. Norbert College men's basketball has been chosen as the pre-season favorite in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's annual pre-season poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors.
The Green Knights totaled 306 points, including a eight first-place votes. St. Norbert edged out Marian University, which had 303 points and 12 first-place votes. Concordia University Chicago was third with 296 points and three first-place votes.
The Green Knights open their regular season at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 at Ripon College.
