DE PERE - St. Norbert College got a balanced offensive attack as the Green Knights routed Lawrence University 8-1 in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
Seven different players scored goals and seven players had multi-point games as St. Norbert opened league play with a convincing win that saw the Green Knights outshoot the Vikings 49-10.
St. Norbert led 1-0 after the first period after
Lexi Bonfe scored at 6:50. The Green Knights opened up their lead quickly in the second period, when
Morgan Olson scored at 1:09,
Alexa Morrow at 8:15 and
Kelsey Ross at 11:19 for a 4-0 lead. Lawrence's Emma Perry scored a power-play goal at 13:01, but
Courtnie Hogan got the score back with a power-play goal of her own at 16:40 for a 5-1 edge.
The Green Knights goal a goal from Bailey Brunnhoelzel at 1:08 of the third period, and
Josephine Mahlum registered a power-play goal at 3:51. Brunnhoelzel connected again with another power-play goal at 16:09 to close out the scoring.
Brunnhoelzel had two goals for two points, while
Courtnie Hogan and Ross each had assists for two-point games.

Jordan Moore all had two points for St. Norbert.
Evi Johnson made nine saves for St. Norbert, while Charlie Prior made 41 saves for Lawrence.
St. Norbert was 3-for-6 on the power play, while Lawrence was 1-for-2.
