Green Knights Stopped By Edgewood

DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't find the back of the cage and fell 1-0 in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match to Edgewood College at Schneider Stadium.

The game's only goal came at 39:30, when Edgewood's Greta Blau's strike from about 25 yards out found the top third of the goal.

Edgewood outshot St. Norbert 12-10, with the Green Knights getting off eight of their shots in the second half. Haley Leadingham had three shots, while Mallory Names, Kait Schweitzer and Abby Thompson all had two apiece.

Lilly Collins made seven saves for St. Norbert, while Hailey Corcoran made five stops for Edgewood.
