DE PERE - St. Norbert College got back on the winning track in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with a 3-0 win over Alverno College at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.
The Green Knights (8-8, 4-1 NACC) doused the Inferno by scores of 25-8, 29-27, 25-18.
St. Norbert had an 11-6 lead in the first set before it ruptured into a 20-6 advantage behind the serving of Devin Nardoni, who had five service aces during the run. Alverno responded in the second set by taking a 13-7 lead, but St. Norbert eventually took a 19-18 advantage. The Inferno was serving for set point at 24-23, but St. Norbert came back in the deuce set before again trailing 27-26. Kills by

Rylie Gregg scored the last three points for the Green Knights. The Green Knights led 18-16 in the third set before going on a 6-1 run to pull away.
The Green Knights hit .238 in the match, with 52 kills against 17 errors in 147 attempts. Rader and Mills each had eight kills, while Gregg and 
Andrianna Volz had seven apiece. 
Heidi Colburn and 
Skye McGill had 15 assists apiece. Nardoni had five service aces while 
Lauren Borchardt added three.
Kara Sowinski finished with a match-high 21 digs, while Borchardt and Colburn had 12 each. 
Linnea Svennes had two blocks.
Alverno hit .122 for the match, with 30 kills and 13 errors in 139 attempts. Rolin West led the Alverno with 12 kills.
