ROCKFORD, Ill. – St. Norbert College picked up a pair of wins in a triangular at Rockford University's Seaver Gym.
 
The Green Knights topped Rockford 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-20) in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match, and then tipped UW-River Falls 3-2 (24-26, 15-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-12) in a non-conference tussle. The win over the Falcons was the second reverse-sweep victory for St. Norbert this season.
 
The Green Knights had a solid first two sets against the Regents, with their only deficit coming at 1-0 in Set 2. Rockford and St. Norbert were tied 6-6 in the third set after the host took an early 4-1 lead, but the Green Knights went on a 6-0 run to take control.
 
St. Norbert hit a robust .348 against Rockford, registering 40 kills against just eight errors in 92 attempts. 
Rylie Gregg had 11 kills, while 
Alyssa Mills added 10 kills in just two sets. 
Ellie Hartson posted 24 assists, while 
Brooke Clement had three service aces.
 
Erin Eggers totaled 14 digs, with Clement added 12. 
Linnea Svennes had four blocks, while Hartson chipped in with three.
 
Against River Falls, St. Norbert dug out from a 2-0 deficit to win. The Green Knights led 15-14 in the third set before going on a 7-1 run to pull away. Neither team led by more than four points in the fourth set, and the two teams were tied at 23-23. Clement closed out the set with a kill and service ace for the Green Knights. St. Norbert led 12-11 in the fifth set before a Clement kill gave the Green Knights a two-point lead. Clement's kill at 14-12 closed out the reverse sweep for the Green Knights.
 
St. Norbert hit .181 for the match, with 54 kills against 25 errors in 160 attempts. Clement finished with 17 kills, while Mills added 11. Gregg and 
Molly Rader had 10 kills apiece. Hartson totaled 45 assists. Clement and Hartson each had two service aces.
 
Eggers registered 27 digs, with Clement and Hartson adding 12 each. Rader had four blocks, with Clement and Svennes each posting three.
