DE PERE - St. Norbert College wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 win over Alverno College in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (9-11) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of action.
Erin Huerta (3:03),
Katelyn Holmstrom (13:53) and
Baleigh Pajerski (18:05) scored during the stretch. St. Norbert doubled its lead before half time with goals from
Abigail Rabideau (31:23),
Mackenzie Schneider (35:55) and
Cassie Fredrick (42:52).
St. Norbert continued the scoring in the second half.
Emilie Harwood (51:16),
Lizzie Guerin (80:47) and
Danielle Dewar (89:52) scored the three second-half goals.
Fredrick and
Michelle Piro each had two assists.
St. Norbert outshot Alverno 23-2. Dewar had a team-high four shots.
Carlene Goral made one save for the Green Knights.
