MEQUON - St. Norbert College couldn't dig out of early deficits and dropped a 3-0 decision to Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Buuck Fieldhouse.
The Green Knights (14-10, 9-3 NACC) lost to the first-place Falcons (17-7, 11-1) by scores of 25-23, 25-11, 25-23.
St. Norbert fell behind 7-2 in the first set and still trailed 21-14 before a late charge put the Green Knights within 23-22 and 24-23, but the Falcons got the set point. Concordia took an 8-0 lead in the first set and was never threatened in Set 2. The Falcons led 6-2 in the early going of Set 3 before St. Norbert tied it at 14-14. Concordia then went on an 8-0 run to take control.
The Green Knights hit .056, with 29 kills and 23 errors in 108 attempts.
Rylie Gregg hda eight kills, while
Alyssa Mills had seven and
Brooke Clement added six.
Heidi Colburn finished with 12 assists. Clement had two service aces.
Erin Eggers finished with 16 digs.
Concordia hit .261 with 34 kills and 10 errors in 92 attempts. Jenna Chaussee had a team-high nine kills.
