
KENOSHA - Playing for the third time in five days, St. Norbert College couldn't find the back of the net and lost a 4-0 result to Carthage College in a non-conference match at Art Keller Field.
The Green Knights fell behind 2-0 when the Firebirds' Silvio Gkizas scored at 15:52 and Collin Moran scored at 22:40. St. Norbert couldn't eat into the deficit and Carthage pulled away with a pair of markers from Noah Smeja in the 75th and 88th minute.
Carthage outshot St. Norbert 15-10.
Tyler Bonin had four shots, while
Max Censky added two.
Nate Jocz made three saves while allowing three goals in almost 85 minutes of action.
St. Norbert returns to action with a road trip next weekend against strong regional sides, playing Friday at Luther College and Sunday at Gustavus Adolphus College.
