LA VERNE, Calif. - St. Norbert College wrapped up play in the Pacific Coast Classic with a 3-1 loss to UC-Santa Cruz and a 3-0 setback to the University of La Verne.

The Green Knights lost to Santa Cruz 13-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-19 and then fell to La Verne 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

St. Norbert hit .152 against the Banana Slugs, with 46 kills and 23 errors in 151 attempts. Grace Baumann and Emily Terry had 12 kills apiece, while Brooke Clement added 11 kills. Ellie Hartson had 26 assists and Devon Nardoni added 14.

Liz Maastricht rolled up a career-high 34 digs to pace the defense. Clement and Linneea Svennes had three blocks apiece.

Against La Verne, St. Norbert hit .100 with 37 kills and 24 errors in 130 attempts. Baumann had 13 kills to be the only Green Knight in double figures. Nardoni had 15 assists and Hartson 10.

Maastricht finished with 12 digs and Baumann added 10. Kate van Gerven and Maddy Borgen had two blocks apiece.
