
DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't overcome a flurry of goals by UW-La Crosse midway through the second half in a 4-1 non-conference loss at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights trailed 1-0 until La Crosse registered three goals in a seven-minute span to pull away.
La Crosse's Ainsley Allan finished a header for the only goal of the first half, coming at the 26:02 mark. The Eagles would hold the lead at 1-0 until getting goals from Sophie Amundson at 65:39, Camryn Hart at 69:06 and Sydney Halstead on a penalty kick at 72:25.
The Green Knights broke through when
Kait Schweitzer finished a feed from
Lizzie Guerin to beat the La Crosse defense at 76:33.
La Crosse outshot St. Norbert 19-11 and also held a 4-2 edge on corner kicks.
