MEQUON - St. Norbert College held off a Concordia University Wisconsin comeback and went on to post a key 3-2 win in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Fitting Field.

The Green Knights (6-4-1, 5-0 NACC) held a 2-0 lead before the Falcons (5-4, 3-2) came back to tie the match at 2-2 on a goal by Jacob Stemper at the 68:37 mark. Just 17 seconds later, Drake Vandermause converted his fifth goal of the season to push St. Norbert back out front. The goal would hold up, with St. Norbert holding off a late flurry by the Falcons in the game's final seconds.

St. Norbert went ahead at 11:26 on a Tomas Pazos goal with an assist from Lucas Rojas. The Green Knights doubled their lead at 49:20 when Pazos finished again, this time off an assist from Mitchell Scholz. Concordia then scored at 61:09 on a goal by Gilberto Gomez, and then tied it up on Stemper's marker.

Concordia outshot St. Norbert 21-9, including 15-6 in the second half. The Falcons also had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks and 15-12 in fouls.

Daniel Yurk made six saves between the posts for St. Norbert, while Mattson Wick did not stop any of the three shots on goal he faced in the contest.

St. Norbert travels to Dominican University in a battle of NACC unbeatens, starting at 2:45 p.m. Saturday in River Forest, Ill.
