Baumann Reaches Milestone in Loss to Wisconsin Lutheran

Grace BaumannMILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College senior Grace Baumann surpassed 1,000 career kills but it wasn't enough as the Green Knights dropped a 3-0 decision to Wisconsin Lutheran College at the Recreation Complex.

Wisconsin Lutheran topped St. Norbert 25-21, 25-21, 25-20. The Green Knights hit .118 (39-21-119) for the match compared to Wisconsin Lutheran's .246 (43-13-122).

Baumann finished with 10 kills to give her 1,001 for her career in just shy of 2 1/2 seasons of competition. Brooke Clement had a team-high 12 kills for St. Norbert. Ellie Hartson had 19 assists.

Liz Maastricht finished with 18 digs, followed by Baumann's 13. Molly Rader finished with four blocks.

Wisconsin Lutheran's Jenna Charron had a match-high 15 kills.
