Green Knights Stopped at UW-Eau Claire

Womens SoccerEAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College battled UW-Eau Claire to a 2-0 loss in a non-conference match at Simpson Field.

The Green Knights (3-3), playing their second game in under 24 hours, hung in against the Blugolds (4-2-2), trailing 1-0 until the host salted the match away with a goal from Amanda Iverson at 83:27. Maggie Conway opened the scoring with a goal at 12:40.

Eau Claire held a 19-10 edge in shots, including 12-6 in the second half. The Blugolds also had 12 corner kicks to the Green Knights' zero. Eau Claire had a 13-3 edge in fouls.

Lilly Collins made three saves for the Green Knights, while a pair of goalkeepers totaled six saves for Eau Claire.
