DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't find the back of the net and dropped a tough 1-0 decision to Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
The Green Knights (9-3, 5-1 NCHA) outshot the Falcons (7-3-1, 3-2-1) by a 27-26 margin but couldn't solve Concordia goaltender Annalina Van Hercke, who stopped all 27 shots she faced.
Concordia scored the game's only goal when Baileigh Johnson redirected Sarah Tretina's shot from the point at the 2:21 mark of the third period. St. Norbert had an extra attacker on the ice for 2:30, but couldn't get the equalizer.
St. Norbert finished 0-for-3 on the power play, while Concordia was 0-for-5.
Brynn Waisman made 25 saves for the Green Knights.
