MEQUON - St. Norbert College extended its winning streak to six games with a 2-0 win over Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Ozaukee Ice Center to open a home-and-home series.
The Green Knights, who have won nine of their last 10, improved to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in the NCHA and continue their best start in program history.
St. Norbert cashed in with a pair of power-play goals and also got a 28-save shutout from 
Evi Johnson between the pipes.
The Green Knights killed off three Concordia power plays in the first period and one more early in the second period before getting four chances of their own in the second period. St. Norbert finally cashed in late in the second period, when 
Morgan Olson puffed the net for the 14th time this season off assists from 
Ava Jaschke and 
Eve Parker at the 19:38 mark.
St. Norbert got a valuable insurnace goal midway through the third period when 
Jordan Moore scored her fourth goal of the season, with Olson and Jaschke assisting.
Olson finished with one goal and one assists for two points, whiel Jaschke added two assists for a multi-point game.
Concordia would pull goaltender Annalina Van Hercke with 2:07 remaining but would not get on the scoreboard.
The Falcons outshot St. Norbert 28-20 but the Green Knigths offset the deficit by going 2-for-7 on the power play. Concordia was 0-for-5. Van Hercke finished with 18 saves.
