Green Knights Score Late to Top UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College got a goal from Liam Fraser with 2 minutes 42 seconds remaining to lift the Green Knights to a 4-3 win over UW-Eau Claire in a non-conference game to open a two-game series at Hobbs Ice Arena.

Fraser pumped in his team-leading seventh goal of the season off assists from Adam Stacho and Carter Hottmann to go ahead at the 17:18 mark of the third period. Eau Claire would pull goaltender Riley McVeigh with 1:18 to go, and the Blugolds would put three shots on St. Norbert goaltender Colby Entz, but he made all three saves to seal the victory, the Green Knights' fifth in a row.

St. Norbert answered with a Hottmann goal at 4:55 of the second period, but the 1-1 tie was short lived.
