The Green Knights (3-3, 2-0 NCHA) gave head coach Tim Coghlin his 599th career win after Peyton Frantti's goal at 9:23 of the third period held up as the game-winning marker to sweep the two-game series.

The Vikings countered with a power-play goal at 15:12 when Ivan Galaguzov scored, leading to a 1-1 tie at first intermission despite St. Norbert having to kill four penalties in the opening 20 minutes.
