St. Norbert Blanked by Illinois Tech

Katelyn KaneDE PERE - St. Norbert College generated plenty of chances but couldn't get on the scoresheet in a 4-0 loss to Illinois Institute of Technology in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights and Scarlet Hawks had 13 shots each, but the visitors found the pay window twice in each half. Kenzie Tokuchi and Nicole Fajardo scored in the first half, while Kelly Hitchcock and Julia Taliana scored in the second half.

Abby Thompson had four shots, with two going on goal, while Hanna Lech had all three of her shots on goal for the Green Knights.

The Scarlet Hawks had five corner kicks to St. Norbert's two and also doubled up on fouls 10-5.

Lilly Collins made one save for St. Norbert, while a pair of goalkeepers made eight stops for Illinois Tech.
