AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College split a pair of matches, falling 3-1 to Aurora University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match, and then topping the University of Dubuque 3-1 in a non-conference match at Thornton Gymnasium.
The Green Knights fell to Aurora 25-22, 22-25, 27-25, 25-16 before topping Dubuque 25-13, 21-25, 25-20, 25-23.
St. Norbert hit .079 against Aurora, with 42 kills and 30 errors in 151 attempts.
Grace Baumann had a team-high 13 kills, while
Brooke Clement added 10.
Ellie Hartson had 28 assists. Clement and
Emily Terry had two service aces apiece.
Liz Maastricht finished with 24 digs and Clement added 18.
Linnea Svennes had three blocks, while Clement, Terry and
Molly Rader all had two apiece.
Against Dubuque, St. Norbert hit .192 with 51 kills and 17 errors in 177 attempts. Baumann had 13 kills, wihle
Rylie Gregg had eight. Terry and Clement had six kills apiece.
Skye McGill finished with 27 assists. Baumann had four service aces while Maastricht added two.
Maastricht finished with 31 digs, with McGill adding 16, Clement 14 and Baumann 12.
Kate van Gerven finished with four blocks, while Svennes had three.
