St. Norbert College

Mitch Bertrand joined St. Norbert College as a certified/licensed athletic trainer in 2018, courtesy of Prevea Sports Medicine. His primary sport assignments are men’s hockey, men’s soccer and women’s soccer.

Prior to joining the Green Knights, Bertrand arrived from the University of Minnesota, where he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Gophers football, women’s gymnastics and the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country teams. Bertrand also worked with the Gopher’ men’s hockey program as an intern in 2015.

Originally from Oakdale, Minn., Bertrand graduated from Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in both athletic training and exercise science, while also playing soccer for the Pioneers. In May 2018, he graduated from the University of Minnesota with his master’s degree in sport and exercise science.
