Corey Bins is in his second year as the head men’s and women’s cross country coach and assistant men’s and women’s track and field coach at St. Norbert College in 2025-26.
Bins spent seven years in the same role at Ripon College. Don Augustine, who has led the cross country programs since 2007, will transition into the Director of Track & Field and Cross Country position and remain track and field head coach.
Bins grew the Ripon cross country program’s roster size from nine to 42 athletes during his tenure, which culminated in a Midwest Conference women’s championship in 2022. Including track and field, Ripon captured 12 team conference titles and 23 individual conference championships. Bins supervised the training of student-athletes from the 800 meters to 10,000 meters during the track season.
A Green Bay native, Bins spent the 2016-17 academic year as an assistant cross country and track and field coach at St. Norbert. The women won the Midwest Conference Triple Crown that year, sweeping conference titles in cross country as well as indoor and outdoor track and field. He spent the 2015-16 season as an assistant coach at Waldorf University. Bins also spend six years as an assistant cross country and interim track coach at Green Bay East High School, leading 12 individual and two team state qualifiers.
A 2009 graduate of UW-Green Bay with a degree in history, Bins competed four years in cross country and was a team captain for the Phoenix. He earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership/sports management from Waldorf in 2016.
