St. Norbert College

Ben Vanden Avond is in his third season as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team. 

Graduating from St. Norbert in 2009, Vanden Avond was a three year captain of the men’s soccer team and played for four seasons. During his collegiate career he was named to the Midwest Conference all-conference team multiple times. The Green Knights won two MWC championships and two MWC tournaments, making two trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
