St. Norbert College

2023: Appeared in 16 sets over 11 matches as a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s volleyball team. Posted a season-best 10 digs vs. UW-Stout on September 9. Tallied 20 digs, 5 kills, 2 aces, and 3 assists on the year.

2024: Sat out season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Before SNC: At Green Bay Notre Dame Academy lettered three times in volleyball. Team advanced to the WIAA sectionals in 2021 season. Twice named honorable mention All-Fox River Classic performer. Played club volleyball for Impact during her high school seasons.

Personal: Intends to major in Actuarial Science and minor in Data Analytics. Daughter of Michael and Denise Kapalko Has one sister, Emily, who was a member of the SNC women’s volleyball team during the 2015 season. Birthdate is Mar. 8.

“We are very excited to have Mya back in a playing role with the team this fall. Having to sit a season out was challenging for her but she found many ways to help the team and stay active in assisting with in-game charting and information gathering. She has been working to make sure when she returns to the court she's ready to go, and we couldn't be more happy to see her get the chance to finally compete with the team."
