St. Norbert College

Career: Two varsity letters. Appeared in 55 matches and 159 sets. Hs 276 kills (1.74 per set) and a .250 hitting percentage. Has 14 assists, 94 service aces (0.59 per set), 62 digs and 59 total blocks (four solo).

2019: Started 30 matches during the 2019 campaign at the middle blocker position. Averaged 2.12 kills per set and totaled 43 total blocks. Set a St. Norbert record totaling 74 aces in 111 sets, placing her ninth nationally. Amassed a career-high 15 kills against Grinnell in the Midwest Conference Championship.

2018: Appeared in 48 sets as a backup middle blocker and serving substitute. Posted a season-high six kills against Carroll. Recorded a then-career-high five service aces against Edgewood.

Before SNC: Two-year letter-winner at De Pere High School. WIAA Regional Champs in 2016. Second-team all-conference in 2017. Played club volleyball for Green Bay Power and Wisconsin Volleyball Academy under coach Mike Voigt.

Personal: Majoring in biology with a biomedical emphasis. Daughter of Brian and Colleen Geurts. Has two sisters and one brother. Birthdate is Jan. 12, 2000.

Jess’ serve saved us multiple times including coming up huge in the MWC semifinal vs. Illinois College. We will need her to continue to be deadly from the service line and hit for a high percentage to keep our team moving in the right direction.”
