Before SNC: Two-year letter winner for the Viator Lions volleyball program under coach Brennan Harrington. Earned all-East Suburban Conference honors in 2024. Played juniors with Pipeline and Top Flight volleyball clubs. 

Personal: Intended major in Business with a minor in Psychology. Son of Joseph and Betsy Masiclat. Birthdate is Jun. 15.

“Mat is an athlete in the 2025 class with the ability to fill multiple positions for our team. This spring he will be asked to focus, primarily on setting, and adding depth to the position group. He has a great feel for the game and shows some strong leadership skills, even as a first year player. We also are hopeful that his service game can help add points for the team in crucial situations.”
