2025: Tallied 63 kills, 62 digs, 10 aces, and 7 blocks over 60 sets played. Set a career-best mark with 11 digs vs. NCAA DII Barton on 1/25.

2024: Appeared in 26 sets tallying 59 kills, 19 digs, and 7 total blocks. Set a season-high mark of 10 kills vs. Lakeland on 3/6

Before SNC: Four-year letter winner at Green Bay Notre Dame under head coach Jeff Dow. Selected three times as an All-Fox Valley performer with a second team nod in 2022. Played club volleyball for Epic and Fox Valley Performance.

Personal: Still deciding on major. Son of Cari and Jason VanOoyen. Has two sisters Abby and Alivia. Birthdate is Aug. 17.

“Jacob has put in a ton of work to prepare himself for the 2025 season. He's added to his vertical and worked tirlessly on his approach to help make him a more consistent attacker from the left pin position. Jacob continues to expand his knowledge of the game through playing, coaching, and attending the AVCA clinic this winter in Louisville. The improvements he has made will absolutely place him in a position to be a major contributor to our team's attack this spring."
