Career: Two Varsity letters

2025: Tallied 63 kills, 62 digs, 10 aces, and 7 blocks over 60 sets played. Set a career-best mark with 11 digs vs. NCAA DII Barton on 1/25.

2024: Appeared in 26 sets tallying 59 kills, 19 digs, and 7 total blocks. Set a season-high mark of 10 kills vs. Lakeland on 3/6

Before SNC: Four-year letter winner at Green Bay Notre Dame under head coach Jeff Dow. Selected three times as an All-Fox Valley performer with a second team nod in 2022. Played club volleyball for Epic and Fox Valley Performance.

Personal: Still deciding on major. Son of Cari and Jason VanOoyen. Has two sisters Abby and Alivia. Birthdate is Aug. 17.

“Jacob's improvement as a player and commitment to the weight room has positioned him to be a very important piece of our attacking group this spring. His versatility and volleyball IQ are some of the best on the team and he will be called upon to fill various roles over the year. He has developed into a more consistent and terminal back row attacker and his confidence in serve receive rotations will be extremely valuable for our team. His coaching experience has also helped him to be someone who I can rely on for help and on-court leadership. I am very hopeful that this will be his best season, to-date."
