Career: Two Varsity letters

2025: Had a breakout season in which he was named the program's first 2nd team All-NACC performer for his efforts. Across 82 sets totaled 239 kills (10th in the NACC), 191 digs (13th in the NACC), 28 blocks, and 16 service aces while hitting .256 on the year. Tallied double-digit kills 12 times included a season and career-best 18 vs. Concordia-Chicago on 3/15 and Edgewood on 3/22.

2024: Totaled 79 digs, 50 kills, 11 aces, and six blocks across 70 sets played as an opposite and right back defender, primarily.

Before SNC: Two-year letter winner at Appleton North High School. 2022 Lightning team won an FVA title, sectional championship, and finished tied for third at the WIAA state tournament. Named second team All-Fox Valley Association in 2022. Played club volleyball for Fox Valley Performance under coach Brandon Biese.

Personal: Still deciding on intended major. Son of Carrie and Bruce Kornaus. Has one brother, Kaden, who is also a member of the St. Norbert men’s volleyball team. Birthdate is Feb. 21.

“Bennett had a breakout year in 2025 earning all-NACC honors. Unfortunately he will be sidelined as the '26 campaign gets underway due to injury. I have been impressed with his continued commitment to impact the team off the court while he rehabs back to play. Whether he is able to step into a match this spring, or not, I am confident that he will be ready to go for his senior year."
