Career Highlights: Second best weight thrower in school history with a toss of 15.97 meters... Scored 8 points with a 2nd place finish in weight throw at the 2023 NACC indoor conference to help the team defend their title… Scored 9 points at the 2022 NACC outdoor conference with a 3rd place finish in hammer, and a 6th place finish in discus to help the team win the title… Scored 3 points with a 6th place finish in weight throw to help the team win their first ever indoor championship… Scored 10 points at the 2021 Midwest Outdoor Conference championships with 5th place finishes in shot put and hammer, and a 3rd place finish in discus. Personal records include; 15.97 meters in weight throw, 12.60 meters in shot, 43.96 meters in hammer, and 39.73 meters in discus.
2023: Indoor: Started the season off with a personal record in weight throw with a mark of 14.68 meters, steadily increased that all season with throws of 14.87 meters at the Pointer Alumni Open, 15.36 meters at the Indiana University Invite, 15.42 meters at the Ripon Invite, before throwing his personal record of 15.97 meters at The Titan Invite. Later competed at conference where he took 2nd with a throw of 15.87 meters.
2022: Indoor: Set a season best in weight throw at the Stevens Point invite with a mark of 14.26 meters, also competed in shot put throughout the season. Finished the indoor season at the conference championships with a 6th place finish in weight with a mark of 13.27 meters, and also competed in shot put.
Outdoor: Steadily increased his personal record in hammer four weeks in a row, and brought it all together with a 3 meter personal record at the conference championship to take 3rd with a mark of 43.96 meters. Also increased his discus best twice throughout the season and set his new personal record at the conference championship with a mark of 39.73 meters.
2021: Indoor: No season due to COVID.
Outdoor: Had a very solid season competing in all the throws events. Season bests included: 38.55 meters in discus, 36.28 meters in hammer, 11.21 meters in shot put, and 38.42 meters in javelin. All throws that are meters further than at the beginning of the season. Brought it all together at the Midwest conference championship with two 5th place finishes in hammer and shot put, and a 3rd place finish in discus.
2020: Indoor: The Leonard “Squig” Converse Invitational & Multi was first meet of collegiate career, throwing 9.08 (29-9.5) in the shot put and 9.89 (32-5.5) in the weight throw. Boosted those marks significantly by the end of the season, having thrown 9.87 (32-4.75) in the shot put and 12.20 (40-0.5) in the weight throw.
Personal: Attended Escanaba High School. Majoring in biology with a Pre-medical concentration and is attending PA school at Carroll University in May where he will continue throwing as a Pio. Enjoys fishing, hunting, and weightlifting. Birthday is 9/19/00.
