St. Norbert College

Mike Wallerich is in his eighth season leading the St. Norbert College baseball program in 2025-26.

The Green Knights qualified for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament in their first season in the league in 2022, toppling No. 1-seeding Aurora University in the second round before finishing in third place.

St. Norbert finished 19-17 overall and tied for second in the Midwest Conference North Division with a 10-6 mark in 2019.

Wallerich, an assistant coach with the Green Knights for nine seasons, took over for longtime coach Tom Winske. Winske departed St. Norbert after 20 seasons for an assistant coaching position at NCAA Division I Central Michigan University.

Wallerich, a 2008 graduate of St. Norbert, played three years with the Green Knights. Wallerich was twice named second-team All-Midwest Conference as a first baseman. As an assistant coach, Wallerich was part of Midwest Conference championship teams in 2012, 2014 and 2017. The Green Knights won at least 27 games three times, including a school-record 30 triumphs in 2017.
