ELMHURST, Ill. - St. Norbert College succumbed to a 2-0 road loss at Elmhurst University in a non-conference game at Langhorst Field.
The Green Knights (1-2) conceded both goals in the first half. Kelli Coughlin converted at the penalty spot at 26:55 to make it 1-0 before Ailani Zires doubled the lead just three minutes later.
Aleah Reesman had St. Norbert's best chance at goal with her shot being saved just before the end of the first half.
Leah Hess was kept busy between the posts, making seven saves, including six in the second half.
The Green Knights were outshot 19-2 in the loss.
