WAUWATOSA – St. Norbert College fought to a 1-1 draw against Wisconsin Lutheran College in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Warriors Soccer Stadium.
The Green Knights (3-3-3, 1-1-1 NACC) trailed after 6:24 when the Warriors scored an early goal from Andrew King. Gabriel Mathisen made several stops in the first half, while Everett Saeger and Quinn Graham had St. Norbert's best chances in the first half.
Sam Thompson (pictured) pulled the Green Knights level at 63:00, scoring his first goal of the season from a Saeger assist. Mathisen was asked to make two more stops with less than 15 minutes to go as the Green Knights held on to capture a point on the road.
St. Norbert was outshot 13-11. Mathisen made five saves for the Green Knights, while Morgan Determan had two stops for Wisconsin Lutheran.
