NOTRE DAME, Ind. - St. Norbert College took 11th in both the 5k and 8k races at the National Catholic Invitational at Burke Golf Course at the University of Notre Dame.
In the women's race, the Green Knights collected 306 points. Notre Dame placed first with 15 points, followed by DePaul University who took second with 79 points. Notre Dame's Chloe Huyler paced the competition, crossing the finish line in 16:45.4.
St. Norbert was led by Kayla Wesaw who placed 67th, finishing the race in 19:38.5. Kera Riley was the second Green Knight to cross the finish line, placing 72nd in 19:41.9. Following closely behind, Madelyn Willmas came in 73rd place in 19:43.0.
Brianna Sheahan placed 79th in 19:51.6, while Anna Fitzgerald finished 101st in 20:28.7.
Hailey Delzer finished 106th in 20:35.8, while Jada Baer rounded out the Green Knights top seven in 20:59.5, placing 125th.
In the men's race, St. Norbert finished with 305 points. Notre Dame placed first with 15 points, followed by DePaul in second with 120. Daelen Ackley, from Notre Dame finished in first place with a time of 23:19.4.
Lars Huffman led St. Norbert, taking 37th place in 25:21.0. Christian Lopez placed 56th in 25:47.2, while Kyan Lynts took 81st in 26:11.9.
Morgan Hanson placed 96th in 26:35.5, while Michael Chudy came in 113th in 27:09.9.
Edwin Galarza placed 120th in 27:20.3, while Jacob Wellons finished 130th in 27:31.9.
