LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College was downed 2-0 by Lake Forest College in a non-conference match at Farwell Field.
The Green Knights (1-4-1) had their fair share of chances in the first half, with two early shots from Shelby Busch and Addie Schneider forcing saves from Sara Swenson. Madi Hacker (pictured) contributed two shots on goal in the first half, both of which were saved.
After a deadlocked first half, the Foresters broke through at 49:04 from Sophia Key and doubled the lead at 59:56 with a Annabelle Schroeder goal. Lexi Fredenhagen and Aleah Reesman had two shots that were saved late in the half.
The Green Knights were outshot 28-8. Leah Hess made 10 saves for the Green Knights. Swenson had four saves, while Maddie Geasey had two for the Foresters.
