CHESTER-LE-STREET, England – St. Norbert College wrapped up its international trip with a 7-2 loss to Chester-le-Street Town Football Club at Moor Park.
Chester-le-Street plays in the National League, the fourth tier of the women's soccer pyramid in England.
Gracie Adrian tied the game 1-1 in the first half, with a chip of 25-yards out beating the goalkeeper. She ends the trip with four goals, scoring at least once in each match. The home side retook a 2-1 lead going into halftime, but Brielle Hamilton equalized shortly after the break on a corner kick after an initial shot was saved.
Chester-le-Street scored five unanswered goals to finish off the friendly.
St. Norbert will open its season next month at UW-Oshkosh.
