DE PERE – Kenna Thompson has been named St. Norbert College STUNT and Cheerleading head coach, announced today by director of athletics Cam Fuller.
"We are thrilled to welcome Kenna to our St. Norbert College family," said Fuller. "Throughout the search process, Kenna distinguished herself with her passion for developing student-athletes and fostering meaningful relationships that align with our four pillars of success—academic excellence, athletic competitiveness, community building, and an exceptional student-athlete experience. Kenna is the right leader to continue the growth of our STUNT and cheer programs, and we are excited to see the impact she will have on our student-athletes and our campus community."
Thompson was previously the head STUNT coach at Lake Erie College, an NCAA Division II institution in Painsville, Ohio.
"I look forward to investing in these student-athletes and continuing the growth of both teams," said Thompson. "With STUNT being the fastest growing female sport, there is so much opportunity, and I can't wait to unlock the potential of this team and see them develop their identity."
Thompson graduated from Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2023, competing on the Cardinal's STUNT team for three years. She also was a member of the coed competitive cheer team at Concordia University Nebraska her freshman year.
She is set to begin her duties in early August.
