RIVER FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College bounced back from its first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference loss of the season with a 7-0 win over Concordia University Chicago at CUC Courts.
The Green Knights (7-11, 3-1 NACC), who dropped a 5-2 decision to Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday, took two of the three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
Jackson Harpt and
Owen McDonough topped Sam Smith and Andrews Villagran 6-1 at No. 1, while
Mikhail Garland and
Seth Kogutkiewicz trimmed August Barnes and Joshua Gustafson 6-2 at No. 3.
St. Norbert swept singles action.
Brett Daniels beat Reynaldo Leal 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, with
Ryan Garland taking a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Smith at No. 2.
Jackson Harpt blanked Villagran 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3, while
Charlie Keller beat Kevin Bullens 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4.
Nolan Pearson claimed a 6-0, 6-0 win over Barnes at No. 5, while Kogutkiewicz (pictured) outlasted Diego Loveshe 7-5, 7-5 at No. 6.
